Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 Tire and information.

Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 Tire priced from $51.00 to $211.00. The Kumho ECSTA (x' ta) Supra 712 is the newest member of Kumho's 'summer' performance tire family. Developed to meet the demands of drivers who require ultra high performance handling and traction, the ECSTA Supra 712 offers a unique combination by blending value-oriented pricing with European design and styling. On the outside, the ECSTA Supra 712 molds Kumho's advanced silica tread rubber compound into a wide directional tread pattern to provide dry traction and handling. Its angular tread blocks are separated by high angle lateral grooves and a large circumferential center groove to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction by evacuating water from between the tire's contact patch and the road (earning the highest 'AA UTQG Traction Rating). Internally, the ECSTA Supra 712's twin steel belts are reinforced with two nylon cap plies to provide high speed durability while delivering responsive handling and stable cornering.

Whether you’re looking for new tires for your sedan, sports car, truck or SUV, acquiring tires has never been so simple. If you’re uncertain about the state of your tires, performing this simple test can help you figure out whether or not they need to be replaced. Insert a penny head first into the tire’s most worn area, and if the tread is not deep enough to at least touch the top of Lincoln’s head then you should replace it.

It’s always best to purchase all four tires at the same time. This will ensure that they’re all the same brand, line, size and speed rating. If you’re only looking to replace one or two, on the other hand, be sure to exchange them with the exact same tire as the others, and keep in mind that new tires are best fitted on the rear axle. Size is also an important factor. Tires that are too large can cause serious handling and steering problems. Undersized tires, on the other hand, will have difficulty carrying the weight of the vehicle and its load. Information about your tires is imprinted directly on the tire, but if you’ve bought a used car, also check the owner’s manual as the wrong sized tires may have been put on.

The conditions in which you drive and your driving style are also important considerations when it comes to choosing tires. For harsh winters, a good set of winter or all season tires can be key, otherwise driving at this time of year can be hazardous. Designed with a special tread to handle cold temperatures and prevent snow buildup, winter tires are best when driving on ice, slush, or unplowed snow. They’ll provide you with extra traction, braking and handling. If you’re often fishtailing or spinning out during the winter months, winter tires will put an end to this. All season tires, on the other hand, are not designed for one weather condition. Instead, they’re designed to be adequate in all weather. If you live in a particularly wet climate or in a location that gets a relatively small amount of snow, all season tires may be an option for you.
